Ché-jean Jupp who plays Rolf Gruber and Ashley Scott who plays Liesl, taking a break from rehearsing their romantic scene in The Sound of Music that opens on Thursday December 14 at the Artscape Opera House where it runs for a month over the festive season until Sunday January 14. Ché-jean has come full circle with this show as he was in the 2014 production of The Sound of Music when he was just 10 years old, when he took the role of Kurt. The two actors, both Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy (LAMTA) graduates, hail from Monte Vista and are thrilled to be part of this beloved family friendly musical that is sure to delight one and all these holidays.
