Sin and Salvation – The Story of Johnny Cash, featuring Jamie Jupiter as Johnny Cash, will be performed at the Masque theatre in Muizenberg from Thursday October 31 to Sunday November 3, at 7.30pm. Musical direction is by Jonny Blundell who appears with Sarah McArthur and Daniel Franks. The show is directed by Nigel Vermaas. Organisers say this is not just another tribute. “Yes the show will include all your favourite Johnny Cash hits, but this theatrical musical delves deeply into the character of one of the most charismatic and controversial artists in American music. Addiction, activism, struggle, joy, and redemption - Johnny Cash lived it all.” Tickets cost from R150 through Quicket.
