Officers patrolling the area on Monday night May 2 spotted a man who ran off when he saw them, according to provincial police spokesman Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi.
The officers had chased the man and arrested him after finding him in possession of a loaded 9mm pistol, said Warrant Officer Swartbooi.
