Hospital seeks families of patients

Tygerberg Hospital is looking for the families of three patients who are unable to recall any contact details of their families or friends.

A female patient registered as Bavuma Ntombisandile was brought in by an ambulance from Philippi and was admitted on Sunday September 4.

“The patient who is approximately 38 years old, can be identified by bruise marks on her forehead. She is unable to provide any contact details, names or addresses of family members and friends,” according to hospital spokeswoman, Laticia Pienaar.

In another case, a female patient, approximately 24 years old, and registered as Emergency FS, was admitted at the hospital on Tuesday August 9, after she was brought in by an ambulance from Parow.

A female patient registered as Emergency FS is looking for her family.

The hospital is also looking for the family of a male patient, approximately 30 years old and registered as Chad du Toit.

“He was brought in by ambulance from Delft and was admitted on Saturday October 1. The patient can be identified by tattoos on his left shoulder,” she said.
