Up to 600 pupils lent their voices for the annual Curro Choir Festival, which was held at Curro Durbanville Primary School last Wednesday.

The choir festival showcased the talents of various Curro schools across the province, which include Brackenfell, Century City, Langebaan, Somerset West, Burgundy, Mossel Bay and the host, Durbanville, according to school spokeswoman, Nosipho Mlotsana.

“This year's festival holds profound significance as it marked a central part of Curro's 25th-anniversary celebrations. Since striking a positive note with its inaugural event in 2014 during the unveiling of Curro Durbanville Primary School’s auditorium, the Choir Festival has evolved into an eagerly anticipated annual tradition,” she said.
