Winning ceramic works from the SA Clay Awards will be on exhibition at the Rust-en-Vrede Gallery and Clay Museum until Saturday December 7.

The awards were held on Saturday November 2.

More than 40 pieces, varying in style and execution and depicting a range of subjects, including flowers and animals, are on display.

“We were really pleased with the range of work entered. A collection of pieces like this shows you the wonder of clay and what clay can do,” said curator Hennie Meyer.

The winning pieces were selected from 518 entries.
