Sharifah Sanders, formerly of Harfield Village and Lavender Hill, celebrated her 90th birthday with more than 100 guests, including her children and grandchildren, at a reception hall in Schaapkraal on Sunday February 2. Ms Sanders says she felt “wonderful” for reaching her 90th birthday. “What makes me feel so wonderful is to see my family and friends that I did not see for years. When they came up to me to tell me who they are, then I remembered them.”
