Post-mortem to be conducted to determine cause of death of 52-year-old Bellville woman

Police have confirmed that a body of a Bellville woman who was reported as missing was found in a guest house in Cape Town.
The 52-year-old Chantel Pelser was reported missing on Sunday May 25 after she left her home at around 9am dressed in a black jersey, blue jeans and black takkies.
Her partner, Linlee Solms, later shared on Facebook that Ms Pelser’s vehicle was last seen driving on Buitengracht Street in the Bo-Kaap towards Kloof Nek Road at around 1pm on Sunday.
“It can be confirmed that the missing 52 year old Chantel Pelser was found deceased in a place of accommodation in Cape Town on Wednesday afternoon. No foul play is suspected. A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death,” said police spokesperson Captain F.C Van Wyk.
