Six people have appeared in the Blue Downs Magistrate Court on a murder charge after a woman’s body was found on a farm in Bottelary Road.
All six accused are from Kraaifontein, and Brackenfell police detectives are investigating the case.
The body was found on Saturday May 19.
Police arrested three men, aged 25, 32 and 32 on Sunday May 20, and two women, aged 18 and 25, and a man, 29, on Monday May 21.
According to Brackenfell police spokeswoman Captain Erica Crous, evidence suggests the woman was killed elsewhere, her body dumped on the farm.
It is believed that the body had been burnt.
