Three men have been killed in separate incidents in Kraaifontein in the space of a week.
On Sunday August 13, at around 2.20pm, police found the body of a 24-year-old man, with a gunshot wound, inside a vehicle, in Malva Street, Scottsville, said police spokesman Captain F.C Van Wyk.
On Saturday August 19, a 27-year-old man was fatally stabbed. The victim sustained stab wounds to his face and chest and was declared dead at the local hospital, according to police spokesman Sergeant Wesley Twigg.
On Sunday August 20, the body of a 42-year-old man, with a gunshot wound, was found in the Covid-19 shanty town near Old Paarl Road, said police spokesman Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi.
The perpetrators in all three killings are still at large, and community police forum chairman Robert Bisset has appealed to anyone with information to message the forum privately on its Facebook page.

Earlier this week, Northern News reported that murders in Kraaifontein had dropped 48%, from 56 to 29 cases, according to the latest quarterly crime stats.
