The International WeLoveU Foundation contributed a total of 20 250ml of blood as part of their "Worldwide One-Two Blood Drive" at the N1 City Mall in Goodwood on Sunday March 30. Jill Jacobs, 35, who donated blood said: "Through this blood donation event I hope to put a smile on those who are in despair due to blood shortages". The representative of the Western Cape Blood Service, Nadia Turner, thanked the organisation.
