Curro Durbanville Primary School’s Vuyo Ngobeni claimed the top spot in the boys’ under-12 long jump event.

Pictured are some of the Durbanville-based Elite Athletes Academy’s gold medal winners who took part in last week’s Western Province primary schools championships in Paarl. The competition featured athletes representing schools from various districts in the Cape Town metropole - North, East, South and Central - with athletes from the northern suburbs dominating most events.
