With week seven approaching, the results from week six came with action-packed basketball: Kings lost to the host club, Gugulethu Hustlers, 46-40, in the men's division. Sharks' men's division team thumped Umoja Basketball, from Delft, 70-42. Mitchell's Plain's Gladiators got the better of Pride's men's team, with a 56-25 scoreline. Nyanga's Cape Waves walked away with another win this past weekend, beating Khaltsha Basketball 56-35. Unity closed the day off with a 48-38 win against Crossroads Basketball Club. Before week seven's action, at 12.30pm, on March 9, there will be a draw of teams, for the floating trophy tournament that will take place on March 23 and 30, in Gugulethu. On March 9, Khaltsha will take on Sharks women's team at 1pm. Gladiators tackle Unity at 2pm, followed by a humdinger between Cape Waves and Sharks men's team at 3pm.
