The Northern News Kuils River/Brackenfell/Kraaifontein (formerly the Tygertalk Kuils River) was established in 1996 and rebranded as the Northern News Kuils River/Brackenfell/Kraaifontein in 2015. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Zevenwacht Mall, Kraaifontein Shopping Centre and Cape Gate Shopping Centre within its distribution area.

Thousands of bikers join charity toy ride

In support of orphans and needy children, thousands of motorcyclists strapped soft toys to their bikes and rode out to Killarney International Raceway to deliver them for the annual Toy Run, the biggest motorbike ride in South Africa, on Sunday.

The Toy Run drew thousands of bikers, and even more soft toys, from all over the city.
This giant teddy was just one of many soft toys that hitched a ride.
A fluffy unicorn and friends found themselves going on an adventure together with this biker.
Barney the Dinosaur put in a special appearance on this bike.
There’s always room for one more when it comes to the annual Toy Run.
Probably not the safest way for Eeyore and friends to travel, but Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer looks like he’s making the best of it. Of course this is nothing compared to pulling Santa’s sleigh.
