The Northern News Kuils River/Brackenfell/Kraaifontein (formerly the Tygertalk Kuils River) was established in 1996 and rebranded as the Northern News Kuils River/Brackenfell/Kraaifontein in 2015. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Zevenwacht Mall, Kraaifontein Shopping Centre and Cape Gate Shopping Centre within its distribution area.

Pride and precision at marching and drill competition

SAPS’ Mitchells Plain, in conjunction with Midea Events and Promotions, hosted the highly anticipated 2024 inter-schools’ marching and drill competition at the Goodwood Sports Club, on Saturday, October 12.

Six schools from Cape Town and Gqeberha showcased their skills and teamwork in front of an entertained crowd.

Spine Road High and West End Primary schools were crowned winners of their respective divisions.

The competition also featured former overall winners Elsies River, several squads from the Eastern Cape, and various community cadet teams, all showcasing their skills and dedication.
